Emi Laguna

An Argentine filmmaker based in Kerry.

Emi came to weddings from commercial film, and still works in it. It shows in how the days are shot

— a director of photography's eye for light and framing, and a habit of putting people at ease in front of a camera.

Every wedding has someone who insists they hate being filmed. It usually takes about ten minutes.

How it goes

/ What to expect /

Before the day

From the moment you book, you can lean on me for the rest of the planning — timings, suppliers, where the light will be at six o'clock. I've filmed enough weddings in Kerry and beyond to have opinions.

A few weeks out we'll have a proper conversation about the day and, more importantly, about what you want the film to feel like. No two are the same.

On the day

The films are documentary at heart, with a cinematic eye. Real, not staged, but shaped so they're a pleasure to watch.

After

A short film to share within two weeks. Your full films within eight to twelve weeks, on a private gallery you can stream, share and download.

John & Yanyee

"From the moment I opened the door, half dressed, I knew we were going to have a great day. That relaxed nature really helped us be ourselves, and the whole day felt as if nothing was rushed. It all happened naturally, as if it was meant to be."
